netanim software package provides network animator based on Qt4 working with ns-3, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install netanim
netanim is installed in your system.
Make ensure the netanim package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep netanim *
You will get with netanim package name, version, architecture and description in a table
